The 4-link rigid wheels feature push rods and locking arms as well as dampers employing cantilever suspension. The extraordinary suspension stroke and monster tyres allow the TXT-1 to handle the hardest of unmade roads.
510mm Giant
This gargantuan R/C truck has a total length of 510mm and a total width of 385mm. The model emulates the crushing power demonstrated by real-sized American monster tucks as they pound their way over rows of scrap yard cars. This unique colossus needs no roads, simply grab the transmitter and watch as the TXT-1 paves a path of its own!
Notes: This truck can be assembled in several different configurations. As standard, one steering servo can be used and the rear steering mechanism locked off - this is our standard +£50 or +£80 deal selectable below.
Alternatively, you can fit a second steering servo at the rear using a "Y" lead to connect both to the 2 channel receiver. As a third option, you can use a 4 channel radio which gives independent operation of the front and rear steering, allowing you to steer with front or rear wheels independently - this is our TRUCK DEAL below. In each case, we recommend using separate receiver batteries to power the radio equipment, using the battery box supplied with the radio sets.
In each instance, note that due to the size of the TXT1's tyres, steering should only be operated when the vehicle is moving and not when the truck it sitting still as the strain may damage the servos! Imagine trying to turn the steering wheel on an older non-power assisted car to get an idea of the strain involved!
