A great little bargain engine for a DC layout! If your looking for a shunting engine but don't want the expense of one of the super detailed range then this is the one to have. It's good at slow speeds, will even fly around your track at high speeds although this is unrealistic for this type of train. It will even pull a reasonable load with no problem, eg I've tested it with shunting 3 carrages at it was fine, however struggled when pulling the weight of the railroad crane with a fair bit of wheel slip.
But if you have a BR era layout then this really is a good buy for under £20.
