In the late 60's I had a Tamiya Chieftain MBT remote (not radio) control kit. It was brilliant: it went anywhere, it looked superb, it worked really well. This is the same...only better! It looks great, it sounds great: it works brilliantly! Fascinating to build (give yourself a good couple of days here) and packed solid with motors, gearboxes, electronic gizmos and speakers. I run mine regularly: grass, tarmac, mud, sand: it handles the lot. This is a very good model out of the box and if you want to, it is easy to customise with extra bits and pieces or even simulated battle damage. The sounds are good and well thought out. Charging the battery is a pain as you have to take it out which means you undo all your good work in the 'stuffing the wiring in' department but a simple-ish mod can solve that problem easily (the mod was detailed on this site somewhere, dunno if it still is). Overall a great kit which builds into a great model: expensive but worth it.
