Tamiya Radio Control Big Rig / Truck Series

All items shown as available on this site are IN STOCK.  All kits require Acoms 4 Channel Radio (includes control box, receiver, switch/BEC and servos), NiCad battery and Charger to function, trucks also require an electronic speed control with a brake and reverse* function.  These are included in deals - you will need a craft knife, cross head screwdriver and pliers, plus paint and 8xAA batteries for the controller to complete model.

* ESC Note: Our experimentation has found that you need an ESC which, when you apply the brake function, stops the vehicle but then doesn't enter reverse unless you return to neutral and then select reverse - this is because some ESCs start to reverse as soon as the vehicle reaches a stop, which will cause jack-knifing with these models.  Therefore, we do not recommend the Mtroniks ESCs for these models - we would suggest you use a Tamiya TEU101BK as a standard choice.
